Elementary Students - Grades K 5
Boys
- Navy twill dress slacks with plain leather or fabric navy, black or brown belt
- White long or short sleeved polo shirt or long sleeved oxford shirt
- Appropriate socks
Girls
- Navy twill dress slacks with plain leather or fabric navy, black or brown belt
- White long or short sleeved polo shirt or Peter Pan collar blouse
- St. John's Dunbar plaid jumper
- St. John's Dunbar plaid skort, (1st and 4th quarters only)
- Appropriate socks or tights, or navy, or white
Middle School Students - Grades 6 - 8:
Boys
- Navy twill dress slacks with plain leather or fabric navy, black or brown belt
- Red long or short sleeved polo
- Appropriate socks
Girls
- Navy twill dress slacks with leather or navy belt or
- Navy knee-length skirt
- Red, long or short sleeved polo
- Appropriate socks or tights or navy, white or natural nylons
All students may wear
- New St. John's Navy Sweatshirt or Fleece Vest or Jacket
- Navy knee-length walking shorts with belt (1st and 4th Quarters only)
- White turtleneck shirts
- Navy blue cardigan or crewneck sweater
Dress Code
Please note: Attire, make-up, or hairstyles considered disruptive are forbidden. The principal will determine if the policy is being broken.
- No hip huggers of any kind
- Dress slacks do not include jean type styles, cargo, painter, zip off or capri pants
- Shoes must be appropriate for the activities of the day.
- All clothing should be of appropriate size, clean, and in good repair.
- Shirts must be worn completely tucked in at all times.
- White undershirts may be worn, as long as the undershirts do not exceed the length of the shirt sleeves or tails.
- Hats, coats and jackets must be removed in church and school.
- Only natural hair color is acceptable. No dyed, tinted or colored hair is allowed. Boys will have collar-length hair or shorter.
- Only natural looking cosmetics are allowed.
- Elementary school girls may wear only clear lip balm and clear nail polish
- Middle school girls may wear light colored nail polish and light colored lipstick.
- Jewelry may only include one necklace, one bracelet or pin, and one ring on each hand. Girls may wear one pair of post or small hoop earrings (no larger than ¾ diameter, the size of a quarter); boys may wear post earrings only. No cartilage piercing. No dangling earrings.
- Boy or Girl Scouts official uniforms may be worn on day of meeting.
Free Dress Days
- There are NO free dress days, with the exception of the Archdiocesan Rockies Day and Field Day.
Uniform Violations
- Uniform violations will result in a phone call to parents that day to address the violation.
- Repeated uniform violations in Middle School will result in writing lines.
