The Blue Army

The Blue Army originated in 1917 in Fatima, Portugal, after the apparition of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, to three shepherd children who were asked to tell the world to recite the rosary daily with special prayers. Lay Carmelites

The Lay Carmelite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel (Third Order) is a lay association whose members organize their lives of love, prayer, and service according to the spirit and direction of the Carmelite Order. The Third Order Carmelites of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church is a lay association whose members, Marian in devotion, are called to a life of prayer, community and ministry according to the spirit and direction of the Carmelite order. Members benefit from a rich heritage of Carmelite saints and a proven pathway to the presence of God. Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month in the St. Catherine of Siena Conference Room. Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is a 75 year old apostolate whose members, with the sanction of the Church and under the leadership of Mary Immaculate, have formed themselves for personal sanctification, spread of devotion to Mary, and the performance of works to serve others. Activities include visiting the sick and elderly, practices of religious devotion, evangelizing the unchurched, and actively encouraging participation at Mass and in religious education. The Legion of Mary is in its 50th year at St. John's. Meetings are every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM in the Church Cry Room. You may call Julie Auger (303-485-9057) or to learn more.

St. Anne's Mission Rosary Guild

The St. Anne's Mission Rosary Guild is a part of the national organization that makes and supplies mission rosaries (free of charge) where needed in the world. The group also makes rosaries that are sold at St. John's Gift Shop - the proceeds helping to pay for supplies and postage of rosaries to the missions or to other appeals for rosaries.
