These are the heart and center of
our parish community at worship.
Eucharistic Ministers serve the Body and Blood of Christ
during mass or communion services. This ministry is extremely spiritual
and personally fulfilling. For more information about joining this
ministry contact Maggie
Howard.
Lectors must love the Scriptures and be
competent readers to proclaim effectively God's word, the word of
salvation for all people. To become a lector, you may contact Maggie
Howard .
Altar Servers assist the priests and deacons,
and set an example for all people (especially the young) during our
liturgies. Parish members who have completed fourth grade or higher
are eligible to serve. Among the tasks these boys and girls perform
are: lighting the candles, assisting with the gifts, and carrying
the processional cross. For more information contact Maggie
Howard.

Music Ministry: Vocalists and instrumentalists
combine to enhance the liturgical experience of our community. At
St. John's we have a wide variety of musical ensembles - from children's
choirs to adults, from singers to bell ringers, from organists to
guitarists.
