Mothers Uplifting Mothers Spiritually

M.U.M.S. is an organization at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church to promote, encourage, educate and support mothers of ALL ages. To unite and invite Christian women of our community to act on matters of common interest. To develop spiritual growth, leadership potential and motivate and assist mothers in their responsibilities of raising families in today's society.

Mission Statement

To provide an atmosphere of support and encouragement for mothers to gather and discuss parenting and family issues.

To allow women the opportunity to become acquainted and form friendships with other mothers from our community and our parish.

To foster development of individual leadership abilities.

To provide educational resources for women to discover and grow in the riches of their Catholic faith.

To promote Christianity.

To provide educational resources to motivate members to become the best example of motherhood possible.

To become a part of the social development at St. John's.

To become a source of information to all members of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Babysitting

What would a mothers group be without baby sitting? We provide baby sitting for those mothers in need of this service. A Child Care Agreement MUST be filled out and returned to M.U.M.S. before your child(ren) may attend. At this time we have three rooms available. The amount of children allowed will be monitored carefully. Since we are limited on available space, we reserve the right to turn away any children not already registered with M.U.M.S. We would love to have you bring a friend to our meetings, however, if your friend will require baby sitting, you must notify us BEFORE you bring them. For the safety of all the children, and to follow guidelines by the State of Colorado and the Archdiocese of Denver, the teachers or staff from M.U.M.S. may be required to turn away any child not previously registered or approved.
