MUMS (continued) General Information This ministry is for mothers of all ages. If your children are already in school or even out of school we would love to welcome you to this group! We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month starting the second week in September and ending in May. The meetings run from 9:30 am until 11:30 am in Benedict Hall at St. John's. Registration for M.U.M.S. is online. Sign up today online! We have speakers and/or topics for discussion. Each member will be assigned to a small group that will meet during the M.U.M.S. meetings. Each member will have a Table Angel assigned to them, whom will be the liaison between M.U.M.S. leadership and members. We will open and close each meeting with a prayer. There are snacks served, and throughout the year each table group will be assigned a day to bring snacks. Most importantly we want to socialize and get to know one another and have some fun! The church has asked us to be very careful with any snacks or drinks sent with children during the meetings. No colored juices will be allowed even if it is in a sippy cup. Milk only for the infants who require it. Snacks will be provided to the children, but you may bring in crackers or cheerios for your child (anything dry that can be vacuumed). |
Please remember, there will be a lot
of children, so LABEL EVERYTHING that belongs to your child! Blankets,
pacifiers, bottles, snacks, sippy cups, backpacks or diaper bags.
This makes it much easier for the baby sitters and your child. DO YOU KNOW A BABY SITTER? We are always in need of baby sitters. We would love to have volunteers, but we will offer paid positions as well. Baby sitters will be paid $20.00 per meeting. So if you know of someone who would like to earn some pocket money, please list their name and phone number on the form provided. We will run a police check and a Colorado Bureau of Investigation check on each baby sitter and they will be required to attend Safe Environment Training. REGISTRATION: In order to better plan these meetings, we need everyone to register as soon as possible. Cost is $15.00 for the first semester and $15.00 for the next semester, and babysitting fees may be necessary. |
