That Man is You (TMIY) men’s group presents Matthew: The King and His Kingdom. TMIY is an organization of lay Catholic men dedicated to finding God in the midst of their marriages and everyday family life. Join us in this fantastic and engaging learning study by Jeff Cavins. What a great way to grow during our Year of Faith! TMIY meets early mornings before work to reduce the impact to our family and work schedules. Consider this time of study as a gift back to your family by growing in your faith.
Matthew: The King and His Kingdom is an exciting in-depth study that explores the life and mission of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel. Matthew demonstrates how the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament are fulfilled in Christ, who establishes a New Law and inaugurates the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Participants will see Jesus as the awaited Messiah who relives the life and struggles of Israel to become the faithful and victorious King. Set in the rich context of Jesus' Jewish culture, this study will help participants understand who Jesus is and what his life and teachings mean for us today. Please join us on Thursday mornings at St. Francis of Assisi, 3791 Pike Road, beginning January 24th.
